This performance expresses the heightened sense of worry and waiting, while cooking a dish for the first time in my kitchen during the early months of quarantine. It represents a sense of annoyance and irritation I have personally felt, when I am trying to focus on one thing - in this case the thing that I am cooking, but other unrelated things keep taking my attention away.
